Stop Judging Me

Contributed by xXdeadXpoetXx on Monday, 29th January 2007 @ 04:23:47 PM in AEST
Topic: schoolproblems

don't f**kin judge us
you have no clue
you say that we cut
you don't kno what we do

its bugs me death
you kno not about
the things we go through
that makes us shout

our minds turn to mush
we want you all dead
you think what you say
goes strait to our head

oh, we wear black
and who really cares?
when we pick our clothes out
its not what you wear

so music is screaming
any why do you bother
don't boss me around
you aren't my father

you think you can group us
but you don't even know
that what you are saying
is helping us grow

you think we are emo
i think you're a b***h
stop judging us maybe
i'll spare you a stitch

and so i write poetry?
at least i got skill
so what if i'm straitedge
im not on the pill

and why does it bug you
the music i like
don't be immature now
mom might take your trike

i listen to indie
so im against war
why must you fight
to settle the score

and why do you beg me
to change how i am
im sorry you're messed up
and wanna be them

if you cannot handle
what's under my skin
then i cannot handle
letting you in

you're gonna be left out
i swear no one cares
we'll take you in our wing
with the bangs in our hair

we'll give you a hug
like no one else can
and i might let you borrow
my black and white Vans

hey, what do you think now?
am i still a fad
i'm just myself
and it's driving you mad

im sorry you can't bare
to get me and my friends
but we don't wanna get you
so this is the end

so much for this friendship
you two-faced little b***h
in fact, the west called here
they want back their witch

I love reading your stuff, but in the same breath It makes me feel sad and helpless a little humble even.

Theres a lot you have inside that needs to escape, you manage it beautifully thru your words.....such passion

Good luck to you,
Dee xx

Amen to this!

"you think we are emo
i think you're a b***h"
Haha, love it.

Wow, if I could copy & paste all the priceless lines in this, I'd be copying the whole thing. This is GREAT! That careless attitude, just shrug them off if they really don't get it. My, this is great! Good job! - Drapes

Only you can define yourself. It's up to you, who you want to be. No one should tell you you're less than you are. I enjoyed this reaffirmation of exactly these things. People judge by what they see and it’s not fair and it’s certainly not right. Good write. Thank You.
