Night falls as the sun fades away
You disappear into the night, till the next day
It seems that you’re always holding back things you have to say
I just wish you’d shine just a little ray
Of information for me to make this better
I can see this relationship go downhill
As each day passes, it gets damaged and bruised
Crying out for a cure
It doesn’t need a band aid to cover the wound
Because only more feelings will be hidden, not revealed and shown
Sometimes I feel the urge to pick up that phone
Just to hear your voice and tone
After I’d tell you and you’d tell me everything
Everything that’s needs to be known, that needs to be shown
There’s always just that one question
If I’ll ever understand what you’re feeling
And if you’ll every understand what I’m feeling
But that’ll never be known, if we don’t show and tell these hidden emotions
So here’s the time
Tell me and I’ll tell you
Confess

if one writes a poem there is nothing more needed to be confessed. besides, confessing is to much work.
i enjoyed this poem. |

this was enjoyable, though not excellent. i think it's lacking the use of all senses, though that could really be more my taste in poetry than anything else. thank you for writing! |
