Sun-up, I stir
flannel bedding,
its warm, my first thought.
Close my eyes
evading the day,
don`t want another thought.
Given days there it is..
"how I loved
and blue the sky,
clear the heart,
how needing ruled the act.
Desperate minutes,
and all that mattered,
how love, long coming back"

simple but yet a very powerful moving piece.. I love the stanzas and especially that line "how i loved and blue the sky"

Not only did it roll delightfully high in my mind it had the bumble of orienting oneself in wakefulness from warmth to love. Concise and well done.
