Apropos of nothing,
He mentioned how wonderful
The Bus Station toilets had become,
With piped classical music
And soft coloured lighting to keep miscreants away
And suggested we meet there
So he could show me.
I, however, felt an Italian restaurant would be nicer,
For a first date.

I have been waiting for a poem to start with apropos, by the way (not brave enough to do it myself, tee hee), and remain entranced by your continuing ability to take everyday experience and make it beautiful again.
