Adolescent hearts joined as one
As I can retell
Tough youth was fresh upon us
You were my parallel
We did sew our lives together
My heart strings turned to twine
We double stitched with care
That parallel of mine
Ignorance is not a bliss
I truly understand
Although I picked the seams
I’ll sew it back by hand
I once shared your ignorance
But now I’ve aged with care
Mature hearts are still fond of beating
Parallel, I share
There are still stitches
Yet you still repel
I now see you, right-angle
Of my parallel

I like the weaving as your words braid an homage to a dear childhood friend. Please keep writing and posting.
Good Job
