I had absolutely no expectations or requests from you
Because we were friends I had no reason to
Demand from you anything more than that
Although I had always hoped for something more
The details of what occurred are of no great relevance now
Although to the author, he is not sure how
He could have hoped to have had more fun with
The girl with black nail polish and a gorgeous smile
And so, as the classic story of boy and girl must go
The boy’s feelings are unrequited, although
The girl assures him that he really is something special
And that really her own frailties are to blame
And I tell myself that it can’t be true
Obviously it must be me, it can’t be you
Every serf knows his role, and in this case
You were simply a queen, never attainable to me
But as I begin to think about all that has been said
I realize how selfish I am, I stop seeing red
If you are having problems in life, now matter what
I want you to know that I will never hate you…….
I hate that the timing is not right
I hate that I don’t have the answers to help you
I hate that because of that there is nothing for us
I hate that I don’t feel good enough for you
I hate that I would be amazing for you
I pretty much hate the universe in general right now
But I think I’ll always love you

That was beautiful and painful .... but you must move on ... we CANNOT MAKE anyone love us .... The gift of love you have to give is very special, save it for someone open to it and your heart will oneday sing and you... believe or not will realise you wasted precious time on someone that needed to be more honest with you than she truly was....
Truth hurts..but is Always the best policy...protecting people sometimes is the WORST thing a person can do to another.
NEVER HATE ...its negative and harmful.... I look forward to your first poem when you find true love -
