Who Are You?

Contributed by UrMyInspiration on Thursday, 25th January 2007 @ 12:13:26 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

They say that time heals all wounds...

Well, who are they anyway?

Will they comfort me at night when I am longing for her warmth?

Will they wipe the tears from my distant eyes when I cannot forget her touch?

Will they cut the ties that are tugging on my heart, dragging me towards her?

Oh please, can they dissolve the picture of her beautiful face from my disoriented mind?

They say that if you love someone, let them go...

Well, who are they anyway?

Will they hold my hand and sweep the hair from my face as I am aching from the inside out?

Will they shield my eyes, on those beautiful nights, from the brightest star I am wishing upon?

Will they trace their fingertips up and down my back while they gently kiss my forehead?

Oh please, can they release the pressure that surrounds my broken heart?

They say that if it was meant to be, it will be...

Well, who are they anyway?

I would imagine THEY are the ones that have been there in life before you .... and have felt the pain you feel today....

THEY normally have the wisdom and experience which is why they pass it on to us.
We ALL have to experience some distress or pain its what teaches us in life meaning.

Like THEY say ... I say.... It just WASN'T meant to be, and until you allow it to move on ... Time will stand still and so will you ...

Beautiful words written

Good Luck!

I love how this is written.. this is a beatiful piece and soemtimes we have the inner ache until you find the right person.. or sometimes you may think a person you lost is the reason for the ache. however I believe that everything happens for a reason and I do hope that things get better for you soon
