I will never forgive myself
for what i have done,
why was i so selfish,
how was i so dumb?
A little tiny baby, a tiny little soul.
a chance at life, a heartbeat,
everything i stole.
I took away your smile ,
i took away your love ,
i took away your eyes ,
i took away your hugs.
Little tiny hands , ten little toes
what would you have looked like?
only jesus knows.
My poor little sweetheart
i caused you so much pain,
i took away your life,
all in selfishness and vain
I wish that i could take it back ,
and you'd still be alive ,
my little helpless baby
had no chance to survive
I'll never forget what i've done to you,
I'll never forget who you are.
In my heart forever,
there will always be a scar.

Your poem was very sad, and you seem so sad, but I take it that you made a choice which at that moment in time was for the best.
Regret the things you DIDNT do, not the things you did.
As you love your unborn, your unborn would not want you to punish yourself...let your poem show your pain .. but now try and move on ...tho difficult ...

wow this is powerfully sad.. you can feel the pain and haunting pain in this. it seems like you are suffereing severly now with a choice you have made.. but you recognize your mistake and you have to forgive yourself before anything can get better. this is a very good sad piece though
