Little Things

Contributed by ButchCorpuz on Wednesday, 24th January 2007 @ 07:42:35 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Little things that I’ll do everyday
To bridge this distance and make a way
Knowing that we’re under the same sky
I’ll let my love spread its wings and fly

I’ll mail all my thoughts through a letter
And paste the stamp using my laughter
I’ll gently sing along with the breeze
So you’ll hear my voice across the seas

Although we’re flanked by so many miles
I’ll use the clouds to send all my smiles
I’ll send all my kisses through the rain
And let a storm brew to ease your pain

I’ll send out my love through a rainbow
Let all its colors soothe your sorrow
Through empty space I’ll softly whisper
That I’ll be loving you forever

I’ll paint the moon with love so tender
Letting its glimmer be your shelter
And I’ll be wishing on every star
Hoping one day, I’ll be where you are

Little things that I’ll do until then
‘Till we’re in each other’s arms again
Our love is more than our miles apart
Love is our bridge, keeps us close at heart
