A Blackened Mix

Contributed by xXdeadXpoetXx on Wednesday, 24th January 2007 @ 07:07:51 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

a knot twisted in a thousand loops
my heart, a winding road
untangle me for once and all
im tired of being wound so tight
i want to untie the confusion
as joyless as it may seem
the everwinding road of lies
and knots. and trips. and tears.
and yet the smiles and laughter
shines through like a thousand lights
forever glowing in my eyes
the one thing keeping me alive
the same thing that keeps me tied
there isnt a light at the end of the tunnel
there isnt a line on the end of the page
there isnt a lining to the cloud of my living
to my existance, there is constant rage
it all turns around and i smile for once
for once and then for never more
and i wonder why life is so devious
damned if i could settle the bloody score
i want it to dry up like rivers
then fill them back up with my tears
i swear there is nothing in sadness
but pain that just worsens over the years
so ive been thinking about it
its worse than it seems
a dark sleepless lie here
cascaded with dreams
play out on my eyelids
a cinemaplex
a tainted sweet nightmare
thats faintly transfixed

I thought this was great. They do mesh
well indeed. Life can truly be nightmarish
at times. I think you captured the trip very
well. I was in the mood for something dark
and you delivered. great work. Truly , Doug
