Little Baby in His Bed

Contributed by krista on Wednesday, 24th January 2007 @ 05:58:14 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

February 5th of 89,

A loving family spending time

Watching Tv on the couch

Laying there with a slouch

A little baby in his bed

Not knowing that he'd soon be dead

Holding on to his blanket tight

Trying to go nighty-nite

My aunt was arguing with Steve

My dad said "Please Leave!"

He said to Steve "You're wasting time"

Not knowing everything wasn't fine

A little baby in his bed

Not knowing that he'd soon be dead

Holding on his blanket tight

Laying there filled with fright

He ran upstaris to get his stuff

Mad and angry, he made a huff

Steve said, "Hold on i'll be down"

While going upstairs with a frown

My sister upstairs in her room

Smelled something strange and sensed the doom

She yelled for my dad to check it out!

He told everyone "Get Out" with a shout

The trucks came to the scene

Where everything was just a scream

The smoke was so thick

It made everyone sick

A little baby in his bed

Not knowing that he'd soon be dead

Holding on his blanket tight

Was to small to put up a fight

The man was caught and sent to jail

Never to get out, even with bail!

All the families are extremely sad

Because the disaster was so bad

A little baby in his bed

Not knowing that he'd soon be dead

Holding on his blanket tight

Was at Final Rest that night
