(Fading Memory)
Well it's always raining in my head,
sometimes I think
I could be better off dead.
The names on the tombstones
scream so clear,
Their memories dampening the air.
Nothing is left here but despair,
buried yourself in your own fears.
So why bother,
No one's here now,
You shoved them all away.
So your violins could play their song,
with your fading memory.
Well it's always raining in my head,
the rose petals withering off, all dead.
Just the sound of a silent kiss.
Get on your knees
and begin to pray.
Asking only for a hand,
to wipe the tears from your face,
a hand to take the pain away.
So why bother,
No one's here now.
The sun has gone away.
Let the children play
Beyond the gates,
to a place you can never be.
The names on the tombstones,
scream so clear,
their memories dampening the air.
Nothing is left here but despair.
Buried yourself in your own fears.
So now your violins shall play,
as your memories begin to fade.

Words can't express how I felt about this poem, nor how much I can relate to it. I love the line, 'Buried yourself in your own fears.' Absolutely beautiful...
