Grey waters fill my eyes
Sinking
Slowly
Drowning
Looking up to the skies
I can see the light
and I refuse to fight
Lost within this sea of emotions
Isolation, depression
I have released into this ocean
Swallow me whole, compressed here
These grey waters now a crystal blue
Once painful memories, are now erased
Finally I have been embraced.

This is very touching poetry. I can relate. "Finally I have been embraced"... This line gave me chills. |
