abstract

Eyes relate
ears recall
tongue forgets
one recollects in touch.
Under the shade of
language laden knots
forest of thick ropes,
upon dreams whisper
awaken.
What is your name?
I am a kite.
Do you know where you are?
My tail is caught.
Do you know what day this is?
I think tomorrow.
Lets get some x-rays,
Chem 7, CT scan, MRI
consult , someone get psych down here.
The words are filo,
crisp, buttery light with
crunch and promise,
familiar yet foreign.
Lids forced in latex
bright wand check
equals head is damaged.
Floating
on fragile, tender leaf
unable to restate;
who lives there,
do I enjoy picnics and pandas?
A gap in moments,
the curtains drawn back.
Am I long in the tooth,
may I see a mirror?
Sorry Mr. Doe
please swallow this
it will help you sleep.
Wait,
you mean
die again!
Don't worry wisen-heimer
I am sure you will be reborn
every 2 hours
until the attending gets in.
Doctor means teacher in Latin.
Memory is life.
Am I frightened
or a ghost?

I have supposed this reality for myself in daydreaming escapism...this write brings to light just how naively romanticized I allowed my notions to be...in truth, I've come to believe our paths are only enhanced by the gift of memories, good & not so good alike...
thought provoking write!

Dearest friend AJ~ you give your readers mind a real workout. I'm envious for I can only dream of writing anything half as good as this~ I love visitng your pages for you stimulate my mind and you take it on an incredible journey.It's still okay up there, I think, lol. Way to go my dear friend.

Oh this was cool, AJ. Part of me felt like I was back working in the ER with a patient who was going in and out of this world. Me the nurse, analyzing, assessing. Then I saw me lying on a gurney, watching some heavy duty life fleeting on by. Interesting write. I love how you take me places, that I feel I once visited before. I love how you make me ponder on your wisdom.
btw the pictures of the flowers were beautiful, maybe their scents are awakenings of past memories.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful writing skills. You so impress me.

Not saying I ever had..this?! But, I wished I could sometimes.......What beautiful imagery to go with the words you have penned, this time. To make someone feel what isnt seen: yet it is. Yes, we do have something in a realm of this....but..Well, Im sure you know what I mean. Extradinary
