Keeping My Sylvir Well

Contributed by xXdeadXpoetXx on Tuesday, 23rd January 2007 @ 03:37:21 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

trying to hold on so hard to this
i miss calling you and talking
about things no one else can hear
and now it's so petty
all about other people
and i think im losing you
what can i do to get you back
you tell me you value this
you spill your guts into the reciever
til my eyes drown in warm tears
i feel like i finally have someone who cares
thinking about it
if i lost you i would lose myself
you're so important
and how i found you
and why i deserve this being as a friend
this beakon of kindness
but you cant take it
you convince me you're a monster
when you aren't
you're the direct oppisite
and i want you to know that
if any words pass my lips
let them be i love you
and i don't want you to take this too far
because that is all i mean to say
as a friend and as a savior
the latter because you have saved me
from myself
and without your guidance i would be lost
so i promise you
if you need someone
if you need to cry to anyone
let it be me
and i will try my best to ease the pain
because no matter how far you stray
i will be here for you
you are my best friend
and to lose you would be hell
