All to be one

Contributed by tiggytom on Tuesday, 23rd January 2007 @ 12:41:55 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Say it's okay, help me to sway
People are real, they're really okay
Just caught up in illusioin, the living decay

The walking dead is how I like to view
The everyday people, the me's and you's
A throwback to history is what I see
Time has no distinction
There's no distinct time
For all is one, we are one with it all

Reality TV, can this really be true
How much worth is pumped through the tube
From what I can see, time stands still

What we do today is seen through the eye
The eye of the brother
The child without mother
No restriction in place to keep them in line
A brother to whom, not me, nor you
We don't listen to our parents
Brother tells us what to do
Slightly hidden from our seeing
Just slightly out of view

Lies we eat like our bodies need it
Truth it hurts, energy depleted
For all to be one there must be some fun
No more misery broadcast
We're so under the thumb
The thumb it is harmless, so creatit the gun

By our own hand, the killing of man
So foolish are we, so quick to believe
Our enemies are friends, let's not pretend

For we will meet again at the bitter end
The end will be bitter when we learn the truth
We've wasted the time, wasted the life
Like children in school, only when fully grown
Realise what they lost, their place on the throne

Life is a school, a large scale playing ground
The longer you remain, the longer you skip class
The quicker you will fall, hitting hard on the ground

Learn what you can, achieve what you need
'Cos there's no coming back, there's no worth in greed

So make sure the key you hold in your hand
Is as powerful as the one in your heart
Otherwise you'll miss the flight
Left there standing whilst the others they depart

Collaborattion of one's soul both physical and mental
Will gain you access to your place upon the mantle

All sin will be forgiven, just like the wax in a candle
Burned without choice, hurt with no voice
Yet it adheres to the power, because it's foretold
So remember my son
For all to be one, there must be some fun

I am intersted in this piece on a couple of levels.
First I like the format, the way you turned certain phrases around and showed them from a diffrent view so to speak.
Secondly the message itself, of life and living is well said and represents the current times.
If this was mine I might have made it a bit shorter, but indeed, it is yours and I think it an icredibly well done piece!!
