Well I can't really say I regret my decision
But what's that to you, when you don't share my vision?
I know what I'm doing, with my life in the present
You just have to believe me, though it may not seem pleasant
I'm taking things slowly, is that such a crime?
Just like you once told me, "No rush, take your time"
I'm still rather young, and I'm still rather lost
And I'd rather just walk, than run on at great cost
The cost being this, the chance of regret
Don't dare interrupt me, I'm not finished yet
I don't want to look back on the choices I make
And think 'That's not me. No, that man is a fake'
So please just believe in my view on my life
I've stopped you from twisting, now just take out the knife
If, in good time, I end up being wrong
I'll admit you were right, but for the time being, goodbye and so long.

This is really good and has a good flow and rhyme scheme. A depth of your minds workings gives this a slice of life reveal. Thank You for posting.
