The Recapitulation

Contributed by yangdantien on Saturday, 20th January 2007 @ 02:39:50 PM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Upon rising,
dark room alight,
there in my minds corner
the canopy of being,
Sun to Earth,
is the wisp, string of Hope.
Her jangle glows and chimes me alive,
reaching toward
the warmth, hug, bold of us.

"Hey you!" I hear
left, below.

"Yeah, who are you and
why have I stopped moving toward Hope?"

"How did you do that?"

I hear that and say it at the same time.

"What?" Again.

Angle turned to face
what in an instant felt
knowingly in all ways there;
a Living Mirror with details familiar,
magnified to pores and then some
holding true to my secret belief,
an inner dictum, 'that nothing, however small, is truly lost.'

Speaking in unison
reflections splinter,
mimic but veer in purpose.

I asked again "How did you do that
I meant get out of hell?

Strange to be talking to myself
face to face, stranger sitting
on the souls window sill
as speech spilling from my lips
directed by this constant opposite.

"Hope, helped me, you know,
you, me, we, were there."
Going with it
but said sharply, indignantly,
which shreds my 'self '
in to flaps of dangling frills.

"No, actually I wasn't there." Cold impersonal
sobriety snaps to attention.

"Huh, how can that be?"

"Do your really think, you are all there, all the time?"

"Well, yes! I don't take myself for granted."

"You have to be kidding yourself here.
For example all that pain
and attachment to the past.
concentrated, in an evil you now have lived,
associated to money and the Alligator skin wallet.
Do remember who gave you that?"

"Yes it was grandpa."

"No it was grandma, she chose it for your 12th birthday,
the same year dad died.
She put the picture in it and your first big bills.
You put all the hours staring into his face asking 'why?'
When in a short time there were all gone and you were alone."

"Well, Will, you seem to know me so well but why have I forgotten,
I mean yes, I remember now but it is painful."

"Hence, the making of your core demon."

"It's time to go..."
( Heard in aural echoes as loved from the' Wall' by Pink Floyd)

"Now you must re-live and re-claim
your total sum as parts greater than you are,
to breathe, detect, and merge
all of your Aspects."

Words trigger and catalyze,
programmed by a default switch,
I am turned outward unfurling the entire
tapestry of my days,
every second, every thought and every place
I have ever been, seen or meant
and in amazement to an electric depth,
I am crying, laughing, shaking in shivers
at seeing this Life sparkle to nth dimension.

The reflective crystal carpet beckons me to ride
hopping on, so does my guide
and each person, I ever was around, every choice
ever made and all the ones I did not,
followed by so many as to be
to numerous to count.

In an unbending stream,
a source spring to know,
this Will is delta to All.

"How do you know so much of me all at once?"
I ask as a student, child to all that's happening.

"A Designed Flow into each of us
as in your time there were 6 billion
humans alive on Earth
inversely thats how many selves
you each carry in ratio
to your social complex.
Besides the notion is accurate "Nothing is Lost" and
I am your guide. May I wear another face?"

"Yes, please." As Rug pulled out from under me,
it turns out to be my second grade teacher.
Wow! "Are you the same lady, Mrs. Klein?"

Many eyebrows raise.

"No, actually not. You were in love with her
so purely I share only your hearts history
and her visage in kindness to this event."

"How long is this going to take? I am on my
way to Hope, shes trapped in Heaven."

"You will get to that in good order,
time is not what you think and she's learning
right now. First its important you know yourself
without impairment."

"Please explain!"

Being whole or fractured,
single minded or splintered
and over coming dualities,
is in part the basis for experience.
For most of every minute that you were alive
your were fractioned by amnesia,
of your whole and true being.
What clarity you attained, briefly,
was just the force of intent
teetering on choices impaired.

"Hold on there I was not a drunk or druggie what the 'hell' do you mean?

"Hey! (Scolding) Watch your mouth
and be careful around here,
you are still to close to 'manifesting' dramas
for your self to survive. Now remember
when you played football and you got knocked out cold?"

"Yeah, dimly"

"Just before 2nd half
when you came too by smelling salts,
the coached asked you if you were "all right"
you shook it off and said 'Yeah Go Blue Devils'
and he let you play as it was the last
game of the season?"

"Yes."

"Well you put your life in danger
so did the coach for you had a severe concussion
but both of you were crippled
by the goal and not enhanced by the awareness."

"Yeah but we won that game I scored 2 touch downs it was great.
I proposed to Hope that night under the stars."

"Yes but you lived the rest of your life
with headaches and unexplained pains,
which enabled the thinking error that led you
to choose bypassing the system,
to extract revenge on a bunch of kids."

"Oh..."

"Yeah! Come on we have work to do!" The word doooooooo stretching
into in a flash.
As chorus of me's intoned
"All Paths Lead to Unity".

Part II of III (Hope Fully)

P.S. I experienced several pangs of deja vu upon that image and posting as this life is more than meets the eye-mind.

Whooooahhh man, this is some write. Remembering or recapitulating can be an awesome task. I know if one can do this, it is of much benefit to the soul. Superb writing skills, AJ. *bowing to the man*

I love this journey & I can feel the gradual intergradation yearning for culmination...in part III perhaps...

completely hooked, great job!!!

But, you might not want to limit your vision of this write to three parts as this is quite the journey your attempting, brave man!

Yet another uniquely penned unconventional write. It's odd because it seems that when I try to get into your poetry and understand it I don't fair as well as when I just read and let the words flow through my mind. I can say I felt some parallel feelings throughout this and the point at which I really connected was here:
"Now you must re-live and re-claim
your total sum as parts greater than you are,
to breathe, detect, and merge
all of your Aspects."
I so totally felt that segment, down deep considering the current internal conflict I have going.

Thanks for this.

Wow that mind of yours! Seems to be in a constant feast of contemplation, and never-ending imagination...Great part two! I had to pluck this part out; it was my fave:

Being whole or fractured,
single minded or splintered
and over coming dualities,
is in part the basis for experience.
For most of every minute that you were alive
your were fractioned by amnesia,
of your whole and true being.
What clarity you attained, briefly,
was just the force of intent
teetering on choices impaired.

Such explosive thoughts, and the imagination it rocks with just the concept ! Love it : )
