So content to sit and watch life pass us by
Don’t ask questions
Don’t ask why
So easy to let things take their course
Don’t make waves
Don’t use force
And we’re so damned complacent
Same old story
Same old faces
At this rate we’ll end up gone
Before we can try
Before we can fly
This is self mutilation of the very worst kind
It’s of the soul of everyone
This is the very simplest way
To end up on the wrong side of a gun…
