LoveRemembered

And I cry, letting all the world know
As I place my hand on your gravestone,
Just how cold it can be,
How dare it take you from me.
Days and nights I pour over you,
So much more than I used to.
Somehow words weren’t enough before,
Now silence is the only thing I can endure.
Years ago, regrets from yesterday
Scream at me, it’s too late.
I save your grave; I’ll save your memory,
But I can’t save everything you were to me.
Solid stone cuts my heart in half,
Forget the world, I want to live in the past.
See the color of your eyes and the feel of your skin,
In this game of life and death, only sorrow wins.
