The Weather Today

Contributed by jerseysue on Friday, 19th January 2007 @ 01:27:43 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Look through the window , what do you see?
A mighty storm out there they be,
The trees are dancing in wild abandon,
Rubbish flying so very random,

Cold the air, and the sun is hiding,
Not a day for bicycle riding,
The waves are choppy, it looks bleak,
No! not a day to walk on the beach,

Winter is here, its cold and uncaring,
Hats and scarves are what we are wearing,
All the warmth is hidden or dead,
Best place to be is in your bed,

The seagulls squawk they are flung to and fro,
As the winter winds they do blow,
So wrap up warm , thats the best thing,
And just look forward to the Spring,

Vivid display you put me right with you there in the storm. Burrrrrr now I have chills and shivers..... It is a wild weather year it seems.

The sun is shining bright here in the desert, looks are decieving...... it is colder the hell ooo out here., Setting record lows last week or so.

Stay warm under a huge blanket!

On opposite sides of the world~ You have a cold winter and we have a sweltering summer here in OZ. It's those winter days you speak of when you just stay home with a big warm blanket and a nice cup of hot milo~
You had me there right with ya~ A great write beautifully penned. I hope it doesn't get too cold up where you are. If I could send ya some of the hot air here trust me I would.
Take care dearest Sue and keep warm.
love & big *warm* hugs,
sue m
