Mid-night curtains and blood red sheets
Poison creeping and crimson sweets
Lighters and spoons, needles and pins
Turn the metal inward and kill me again
They say it gets better, I think it's insane
Terrible
From pain shall come pleasure from pleasure comes pain
Unbearable
An irrational fear of needles, self inflicted torment
Queen bee knows the sting of a raging hornet
The buzzing in the hive, saying do you dare stay alive
I think in time my lies shall overcome and die
Scream your prayers to a dripping god, hallelujah, amen!
Face your fears and stick that needle in
Whisper your prayers to a seeping Christ, bargain for the end
Trembling fear that cannot be won – Overcome – and bend
Like pigs to the trough
Lambs to the slaughter
The flames in my veins are burning hotter
The only cure for my fears
Is the poison at the end of the syringe filled with tears
And the poison at the end of the syringe filled with tears
Is the reason for all of my fears
An addiction, the Contradiction
A cut throat cycle that never ends
The syringe is Born again
Please god, just kill me again

Absolutely Amazing. I loved the way the word just flowed and the rhyming was awesome. How about a round of applause for..um...Vermillion. *clapping*
See? The audience absolutely adores you and your writing. They'd be insane not to though. |
