falling apart
the roof caving in
this isnt a home
its ***** that im in
alone in my room
i drown in the pain
theres no one to call
im lonely again
the last straw is broken
im down on the floor
the wound is left open
i poke at the sore
the crimson's relaxing
flows like a stream
why can't i awaken
from this ebony dream

Reminds me of the dreams where one is locked frozen but aware and struggling.
Good Job

Alot of emotions running through this poem.
I've been there...to tell the truth, I'm sorta still there now. It's not a lovely feeling. But this poem is amazingly written. Just hold on. No matter how dark it gets, just keep waiting for the light to show up. It will eventually if you don't give up first.
Awesome job by the way. Please keep it up. *thumbs up* no...no...wait.... *TWO thumbs up* And if I had another thumb, i'd put that one up too. You better believe it. |
