Alone

Contributed by nothingness on Wednesday, 17th January 2007 @ 08:45:56 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

You see the girl crying there
And all you do is sit and stare
Maybe you ask yourself why
Then brush it off and walk on by
And there she sits all alone
Fading into a world unknown
Her eyes fixed on the far away
Growing weaker day by day
Trapped between the living and dead
Dead at heart but living instead
Should be dulled by the pain
But it’s intensified driving her insane
Longing to laugh and smile
Dreaming of making life worthwhile
But how can she, when everyone passes along?
Never bothering to stop and ask what’s wrong
You see her again walking slow
Tears falling and her head bowed low
Ignore it again and turn away
Just think to your self her life is great she’s okay
And there she sits, all alone crying
Dreaming ever single day of finally dying
Why should I stay when no one is here to care?
I guess I know life is unfair
I just wish I didn’t have to suffer alone
But I guess this pain is mine… and mine alone

Great words from your heart once again.

Although rather sad. You know that you have people here who care.

Your writing speaks volumes The emotion you express so well

this Poem proves it for sure.
