ORDINARY HELL

My hell is ordinary
Childish in its will to survive
In a way it’s kinda scary
The simple ways that are me
Backed by thought complexities
To shun the depths my one defense is drive
Stepping onward I must be wary
Or this drop of hell begins to thrive
Such desperation to be free
Is known to bring me to my knees
Difficult to perceive
Essential to believe
Lest my mind deceive
And cause my soul to grieve
What’s a body to do
In an ordinary hell
