Walls of Alienation

Contributed by sunflower on Thursday, 20th February 2003 @ 10:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

somber shades of grey
fill the backdrop
of winters emerging
still life,
as familiar meloncholy
descends
with hollow echos
off twisted trees,
that hang in suspense
awaiting the songbirds return,
along with me,
now painted
into this bleachedout
picture of monotones,
waking to
the beauty in the
sadness,
and the sadness
in the beauty
of these unchained walls,
that echo in
alienations freedom,
and somehow,
for a few rare
moments of clarity,
the fog of convulusion
lifts

Wow I loved this very well written. The imagery is incredible
waking to
the beauty in the
sadness,
and the sadness
in the beauty
of these unchained walls,
I loved those lines keep on writing.
