Can you hear the bells sing?
Screaming "Glory, Glory Day!"
People dance to the pealing ring,
Still broken bodies lay.
Upon the fields, where none now dwell,
Where once the brave had clashed,
The bodies lay as empty shells,
Burnt, torn, and slashed.
But this is no great victory,
Nothing for which to boast,
Just so much more bloody Glory,
A Parade shoved down our throats
