I wanted to be good to you today.
I had a perfect comment sent your way.
Then you went and took me by surprise.
You had that little glimmer in your eyes.
You said it twice as nice.
I had one good suggestion about that plan.
You nodded quickly stopped and shook my hand.
I wasn't sure if what I saw was true.
As the day was ending then I knew.
You said it twice as nice.
We celebrated many things with song.
You never once declared that I was wrong.
When it came to finding me my place.
You opened up your heart and made a space.
You said it twice as nice.
Our friendship like a river bubbles.
It washes down the banks and smooths the troubles.
It lasts like diamond rock with strength and beauty.
Contains no vast restriction, sense of duty.
You said it twice as nice.
