Poisoned by withdrawal.

Contributed by deathdrop on Sunday, 14th January 2007 @ 05:30:14 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

poisoned by withdrawal,
i'm in a flustering panic.
i've hit another depressive low,
i am NO LONGER manic!

... sitting numbly on my bed,
i have no energy for screaming,
... so i sit here, lonesome.
sobbing out my feeling...

dizzy from withdrawal,
the voices won't leave!
drugs have left me,
finding it so hard top breathe!

coated by nothing,
but a craving for a fix,
I WOULD RATHER DIE,
THAN LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!

I went down this road with many a friend so I understand exactly what you are talking about here. Get a support system and hang in there the worst will soon be over.

You expressed your emotion so vividly the reader was sitting right there with you.

i feel your pain, i'm going through the same thing. you summed up nicely, great writing.

instead of focusing on how much you want it, think about everyone you hurt while you were out of it.

Definitely a write from detox... Good Job and Kudos for working the pen.

So, dig, right: you gotta find a way to fall in love with your life...do happy, positive, expressive things...

Write and write some more since the pen may yet reveal answers for you.
At the very least it will help you have a better relationship with time.
A drugged life happens at a different speed and as you shift gears you gain a better position and routine for your self to replace feeling 'high' on the way to becoming highly accomplished.

Peace
Yangdantien
