If You Only Knew

Contributed by mistee on Sunday, 14th January 2007 @ 11:33:41 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

If you only knew
how happy you make me,
how important you are to me
and how cherished you are in my heart.

If you only knew
the warmth of your face,
the sparkle in your eyes
and the radiance of your smile.

If you only knew
how safe I feel when I'm near you,
the lengths I would go to make you happy
and the stength of my love for you.

If you only knew
how lonely I am when were apart,
how lucky I feel to be a part of your life
and wonderful you truly are.

If you only knew
what you mean to me
and how you make feel inside,
your heart you would not hide.

Very good work here, whilst reading this poem, I started to think of that special someone in my life. Oh how I wish to tell her that i love her so.

If you only knew
how lonely I am when were apart,
how lucky I feel to be a part of your life
and wonderful you truly are.

this line hits home for me, its so, so true.

Very good work.
