THEY SAY WHEN YOUR HAPPY- ITS THEN THE DEVIL KNOWS
ALL IS GOING PERFECT- THEN SUDDENLY EVIL SHOWS

WHY? -YOU ASK- CANT HE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE
DIDNT SEE WHAT WAS COMING- HOW COULD I HAVE KNOWN

THROUGHOUT LIFE YOU BLAME HIM- AND CURSE HIM IN GODS NAME
NOT ONCE DID YOU EVER SEE- IT WAS NOT HIM YOU SHOULD BLAME

DID YOU EVER THINK- IT COULD POSSIBLY BE UNTRUE
ALL THE PAIN YOU HAD ENDURED- WAS CAUSED ONLY BY YOU

HE WASNT THE ONE- WHO HAD PUT YOU IN THAT CELL
IT WAS YOUR CHOICE AND SOUL- TO THE DEVIL YOU WOULD SELL

YOU WERE THE ONE- WHO CHOSE THAT AWFUL PATH
BY BEING IN BAD PLACES- YOU CAUSED THE AFTERMATH

SURROUNDING YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO DID THE SAME THING TOO
THE DRUGS, THE PLACES, THE DEATHS- AND THE ONES WHO LEARNED FROM YOU

QUICK TO BLAME THE DEVIL- AND LOOK HOW LONG YOU LIVED THAT WAY
I HOPE YOU BEGGED FOR FORGIVENESS- CUZ SOON COMES JUDGEMENT DAY

YOU PUT YOURSELF THROUGH- WHAT YOU CLAIM TO BE YOUR HELL
THE DEVIL MIGHT BE WATCHING- SO CHOOSE WISELY WHAT YOU TELL
