Not a word could I utter, all I could
muster, a few Nonsense to mutter,
when she stood before me in her
glorious Better.
Nor the piled up Layers of snow
over the roof - or the freezing breezy
evening made my heart to shiver,
Ho! But for her stunning beauty.
Holding high – fresh red dew soaked
Blossom in my shaky hand, rehearsing
a billion times to spell-out my heart’s desire
yet stood before her like a mute mule.
From a sinking boat, I watched her dazzling dance;
as my pounding heart felt her breathing air,
like a Bolt from the blue she blushingly
kissed me and whispered “ I Love you!”
My soul to bop with joy - as I held my Christmas gift
of love in my hand, muttered dreamily in her ears “Me too!”

in a while, I am forced to meander through your back
pages ... and lo! what a beautiful and exceptionally
lovely piece I've found. I know how remembering this
must be bittersweet for you, but that you can look on it
and be happy for this moment, is so sweet and inspiring.
