how do you survive

Contributed by lipsofanangel on Friday, 12th January 2007 @ 01:15:05 PM in AEST
Topic: self-harmpoetry

If you love someone
but are rejected
if you cry because your life is hecktick
if you pray that it will all end soon someday
then your not the only one
who feels this way
how do you survive
if what little hope you have is gone?
how do go on
if every thing that you do is wrong
how do you breath
if your suffocating
being smothered by a life thats disapating
how do you hold on
when all you want to do
is let go
why do you keep trying
if you know that theres no hope
why do you keep on praying
when you know that nobodys there
why do you keep wishing
that you had someone to care
why do you love
when no one feels the same
why do you breath if all you feel is pain
when you really no
that no one is there
take a look around
and remember that I care

I don't know how to describe the emotions that just rushed through my veins, but I know that this is one great poem, and I've read through it about 6 times now. It makes me think.

Great poem!
Ash
