Oh the tangled web you weave
when it's me you practice to decieve.
4 years tangled up in nothing but lies,
I should've known I couldn't trust guys.
I seem to always get so lost in your eyes,
I hope you know how much hurt is caused by your lies.
Is this how things will always be?
Will you always be so dishonest with me?
I don't want this life all over again.
I can't relive all of that pain.
You promised the last time was the absolute last,
Will I have heard that a 100 more times after a year has passed?
Do you know each lie you tell breaks my heart?
It kills me to think we might live our lives apart.
I just can't handle going through this bull***** anymore,
Scared enough to send you out that door.
Tears will always form behind my eye,
but I will not cry.
I know I can't live even one day without you,
It's just something I'll have to learn to do.
I can't have anymore lies, can't let my heart be abused,
I refuse to have your lies to make me feel so confused.
I feel like I'm hanging onto something that isn't there,
I don't want to be the only one who cares.
I can't imagine falling asleep all alone,
not snuggling up to the smell of your cologne.
Not feeling your arms wrapped tightly around me,
nobody there to hold the key.
I need you here with me every day until forever,
but if you keep lying it won't happen, ever...

| So true…amazingly written… I know so many of us have been there and everyone has to decided, but if someone you love cant be honest with you… does he really feel the same? I was in the position and I left and I can honestly say I don’t regret it yeah I miss him sometimes but not having to worry about being lied to by someone you love is such a relief, just listen to your heart and do what you truly know is right, the answer is inside of you, just find it and trust it. |
