Crewel Lye

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Wednesday, 10th January 2007 @ 11:36:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I look out the window
and I sigh
as I think to myself
I'm moody and lonely
ever since you left,
you said you don't want me
you made that very clear....
I don't think you
ever really cared.

All the things we use to do
I now do with someone new
still everyday
I wish to be with you.
I can't think
I don't sleep
I don't know what to do....
all I want is you.

I now know the reasons
our love
could not survive
all the kisses and promises
were just an Illusion
a crewel lye,
the candle light's casting shadows
and a silent tear flows
as I
relive another painful memory,
I'm hurt
and I'm lonely
I never should have tried...

Cheer up, my friend as joy cometh in the morning.
Big huggs,
