The Sun is hidden, though her presence known,
Her rays seep through the compact clouds,
The light branches off in veridical lines-
Rising rays of gilded gold.
Land is only innocent in the purest light,
For this, Earth embraces her golden glow,
But when the Sun hides her flawless face
The earth is left to naught but cold.
But hark! Tender eyes from heaven!
Even the deepest valley is out of darkness…
The Sun has emerged from her ivory palace,
And casts her golden glow upon all the land.

Nice piece, the poetess talks of light, she is optimist in the world of thick dark clouds, the picture is very vivid, very beautiful imagery that the sun will rise from his ivory palace.
Take care, hugs

I'm liking your work - very well-worded, and it shows evidence of the influence of the poetry tradition, rather than being something which bows solely to the writer's needs. Good work.
Interestingly, though, the sun is usually referred to as a male in historic cultures.
Keep up the good work.
