Emotions flying, spiking and dipping
Complete Chaos, but something else
A single bright spark of intellegence,
Reason, logic, sense
Telling me what I need to do,
Urging, encouraging, directing
Sadly, a poisonous realization
It doesn't matter,
All the effort in vain
Pain, Anger, Chaos is back,
With a feral obsession to escape
I must be free, I must run wild,
I must get away from this oppression!
Then, a second realization
One almost as poisonous
I can't be free, I can't run wild
I'm attached, by an urge
A want, a need
Freedom seemed so close.. so close..
The poison's seeping in
Dragging two down with it
Slowly taking over a third
Me
Taking and turning two
Bringing them to its service
Using them, to poison
Poison's taking over
Without any feeling,
Poison kills
Emotionless, it razes
My body, my mind

Hey, I really like this poem. I'm going to have to read it again, but it's very deep, and this reminds me of a situation that my best bro is going through. Awesome poem!
p.s. If you can, can you read my poem Absurdity. I just posted it recently. I too would like to know if it's good or not. Alright, take care. |

wow an emotinally filled write.. this is an excellent write for a first write.. its very good and very deep rooted.. such powerful emotion and everyone can relate to this at a time.. very powerful.. great job
