That marbled semi-light sky is beautiful and bright
The moon is nice, full this night
It seems fair
In that dark sky, up there
Where below, these trees are very tall
Below them all
Some short, some bare
And where
These lights, I wonder
Did I blunder
Make an error, could I have made
Or weighed...
Because, below these houses that
Is where I once sat
Long ago, wondering long, while looking way up there
Inside my heart of care
While staring at one road that I could have taken
Might have been the one to awaken
The sight of my lost soul
At last, dear Lord, will you still take me; I have grown old
