The way you look at me
And the way you smile
Makes me want to be with you
I love your unique style
Finally we are together
Always in each others heart
Loving one another
Never to fall apart
As the years pass by
The light in your eyes has burnt out
Your beautiful smile has faded
Your expression over taken with doubt
Your passion for life no longer exists
You got lost along the way
I didn’t realize the pain you were in
But now it’s here to stay
The world has torn you apart
And you’re falling at great speed
Broken into pieces
I pick you back up because it’s you I need

welcome to ypdc!!! this is a beauitful write.. I love the way you put that into words of helping someone you love or losing them to things they go through.. very well expressed and great wording for that..
however its great that your staying by their side to help them .. but make sure they don't destroy you by trying to help them in the process..
