Deep in our inner sanctum
we all have things we fear,
young or old foolish or wise
be it far or near.
A man or woman the choice
is yours what skeleton sleeps
behind your doors.
Deep in our inner sanctum
that place we never show,
that private hell we all know
well even devils dare not go.
Perhaps in freudian terms it's
called the dark subconcious
mind, the sleeping soul that
takes control to rob the ego
blind.
Ahh! the inner sanctum play
ground of the dead, who come
alive enough to thrive on what's
inside our head.
Oh but worry not my friend they'll
never touch the heart, they know
in time that all mankind will tear
it self apart.

wow a very powerful dark write on hiding secrets within oneself.. that is why i say its good to not hide things.. it eats at you.. this is a beatifully dark write thanks for sharing

Your work is a real pleasure to read be it dark, romantic etc...
This write speaks of those secrets we keep well within. It's better if one gets things off their chest cos if they don't it just brews up deep within and it eats them up inside.

So so true. I absolutely love these lines. Mankind will be the cause of his own self destruction. A dark & splendid write. Well done.
