Snowflakes fall upon my wind shield,
their beauty I admire.
All unique in there own form.
I glance at each, one by one,
Which I can acquire.
With each snowflake but a touch away
I reach out, and yet its gone.
Only to have another in its place.
There is no other that can replace,
the beauty of this snowflake.
If for one should never fade,
Of its love he will let slip away.
A woman who portrayed,
the essence of a snowflake.

This was a good poem. I like how the snowflake symbolizes a lost person whom slipped away.. Great poem..
Take care

oh god! I find an incredible relevancy in the author's note ..
and that which follows is pure and beautiful imagery at it's best.
snowflakes are indeed unique, and yes.. once you let it slip
away .. you'll never find one quite the same
ever again ..
great post.. exceptional metaphor
