'True love as many people have defined it is the feeling you get when you have butterflies in your stomach. Where there is "True Love" there is pain. The pain of breaking up.'
You said you loved me,
And I gave you my heart.
You gave me kisses,
And I gave you my soul.
You said I was yours,
And that you were mine.
As time went by,
We grew closer and closer.
Our hearts and mind were one.
Rain came from nowhere.
The storm came between us.
And you left me,
In the rain.
A knife in my chest,
The blade slowly twisting around.
I felt everything go away.
The love you once told me.
The kisses you gave me.
I was alone agian,
To live or die was my choice.
As the rain began to clear,
I still felt the pain.
It never leaves,
Thinking about you makes it worse.
The feelings that I gave you,
Followed you and left me.
Now I am Loveless.
Damned by the faiths.
All you left me was the reminder,
That never left.
That blade is still there.
And will continue to twist,
As long as you have my love.
I cease to exist.

The pain comes through quite clearly. Good work.
On a more personal note: don't let the masses define love for you. Love is not a feeling; it's a decision. I choose to love my wife every day. And I made that decision permanent. |

wow this is a very emotional write.. we all can relate to this at some point in our lives.. i've been cheated on before too in the past. I realized later on it wasn't meant to be though and now im better off and found true love.
