So I lie here. 2:20 AM
I stay awake so it won't be morning
One more day closer to "reality"
And it scares me
I'm tired of being afraid
22 and still insignificant
In my eyes, and I'm sure in the eyes of others
What will I do next?
What should I do instead?
Where is the truth?
Why can't I find it?
Is there such thing?
Is there really no more mystery in the world?
Will history repeat itself?
The moon hangs high
As it always has
As it always will be
Laughing at our frantic lives
I look on the inside
And see so much more
In a heart that can't breathe
I feel only I can see

i love the last stanza the best...says a lot.
i like it. it's...more complicated, but it just makes you think - which is good for a writer to be able to do for a reader. make people think - give them a challenge for the day.
anyway- i'm not sure, exactly, what to say...there's no criticism to give...it's just simply amazing....and i really did love it. you...are an amazing writer. hope to hear more from you.

| this really got to me. this was good. i want to keep reading. i hope things are ok. keep writing your feelings down. its good to do it. i think we all feel better after writing. |
