Realm Of Confusion

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Tuesday, 2nd January 2007 @ 12:59:25 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Shadows dance on the wall
in your room
as you look at the phone
though you know
no one will call,
voices in you head
are ranting
and what they are saying
makes no sense at all.

To you
no one is talking
you're not getting what you're wanting
there is no one you call friend
seems like everyone is fronting,
confusion is in the air
common sense is rare
in your realm
on your throne
you wonder if anyone cares,
emotional torture reigns
your soul is in chains
depression overflows
you feel abandoned
and all alone.

Deep Innervisions
in your head
keep you awake at night
emotionally you are breaking
the torture is so strong,
still you try
though inside
you can't deny
you're always self evaluating
so you know
something must be wrong.

The feeling of 'something must be wrong' is actually common to most that think and feel. A very good job of expressing the natural descending spiral we all share.

Well Done

Peace

Very well worded, and with a strong tempo. Much enjoyed. You evaluate words quite well. Keep writing, and try to read much poetry as well. One may learn a lot from those whose work has proved itself to the world.
