The Heavenly Pie

Topic: oops

Don’t you pay me no compliments there’s no smoke for you to blow,
Disagreement falls upon everything you already know,
Because temper is a victim if people treat it like a mat,
And walk on you all day just cause of how low you’re at

Keep your ears to the walls there’s a message whispering,
It could find you anytime if you’re listening,
And who would of thought you’d find out what you’re after
From a ten-foot wall you leaned against, made of wood and plaster

Anger came from the rat king, who walked a dreary hall,
Needles was his name, pornography was his call,
Treating you to the wonders of a thousand siren’s wail,
Collapsing all you care to loose on the concept that you’d fail

So the continents divided to scatter us apart,
You walked a twisted trail just to find a twisted heart,
And you feel like you feel till you don’t know what to do,
Well Rose, she knows
That I’ll be loving you

Media displays wildly, every energy made by man,
To deny that solid stones turn to silky sands,
And you could be a pebble but they’ll make you out to be a cog,
I’ve been traveling since eighty-seven in this photographical fog,

Vintage guns shoot trendy shirts, Matchsticks burn a cross,
The four switch places, the shirt’s the crosses boss,
The gun is out of ammo and the matchstick will not light,
Shirts can spread religion, Guns can loose a fight

I’d stay up all night for you but the caffeine buzz sure helps,
My soul doesn’t sing sweetly it barks onto then yelps,
Whimpering back to meet me, it tries to understand,
The simplicity in a kiss and the complacency in holding hands

So the continents divided to scatter us apart,
You walked a twisted trail Just to find a twisted heart,
And you feel like you feel till you don’t know what to do,
Well Rose, she knows
That I’ll be loving you

A coffee in a meditation lounge is sipped down at unease,
People strum their opinions like whispers in a breeze,
They try to tell tales of the neon and candlelight,
Arranging all their sentences, denying all their sight,

Oh, you told me I was a joke once, you frowned me as a friend,
Controlled me like a puppet, denounced us like a film onto an end,
Brought me back up like a sequel, Convinced me like a cause,
Said you’d never get me then told me what I was,

Now I’m crying inside my self, I cannot summon tears,
For distant cancellations of damnable careers,
But if you ever question a journey that you took,
I remember it quite well If you’d like to take a look,

See, the continents divided to scatter us apart,
Then you walked that twisted trail Just to find my twisted heart,
And you felt like you feel till you didn’t know what to do,
Well Rose, she knows
That I’ll be loving you

Deeply impacted write. Nice flow and meter, emotive to say the least . I give this a double five!
