Those Dealing In Death Can Expect Little More

Contributed by steeleyes on Monday, 1st January 2007 @ 02:04:17 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

He ought to have had no valid expectation
No valid dream to be dealt with differently
No other way than how he dealt with others
so many on each earlier day

His justifications for killing all rang hollow
To kill others callously cannot be excused
He led a regime malevolent and barbaric
Any pleas for clemency understandably refused

His treatment of fellow humans was obscene
and repeated time and time again
There are no valid justifications
for all that slaughter, for all that pain

A mirror reflection of his own horror,
as he lived, so now has he died
After all his many victims
it can be said his end was justified

It is only left for us to reflect
on how we wish our own behaviour to be
How we will now treat our fellow beings
and be a better humanity

Alan, Always good to see you around. I have to say. I agree..if one does wrongful deeds then karma shall come in to play. I do not believe though that murder, is the answer to murder. Why haven't others, who have done far worse damage, been made to stand trial? I get so confused as to who the terrorists really are. Is not Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair dripping with the blood of those they have killed? I am sure you know what I mean. Interesting write. I wish you well my friend.
Peace, Laura
