TO JESUS

Contributed by BOZEEN on Monday, 1st January 2007 @ 02:36:10 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

For all that I have done to you,you continue to be there at my side for all that I have
put you through you still continue to be at my side I have lied,I have cheated,I
have even stolen from you and yet you still continue to be at my side,I have played
with your heart I have put you down in every way,I won't even pickup your book to
read let alone come to your house, and yet you continue to put out a hand and be
by my side,I have told you on and on I am committed to my other (sin)and yet
when I fall you continue to be at my side,to help raise me from the floor to help
dust me off you continue to be at my side, for all the praise I give unto him you
continue to be at my side, when I cry in the dark you shine a light to say you are by
my side,I know no man who would do so much and still be by my side, but no
matter what you continue to embrace me as you stand by my side.

Belief carries us a long way, in this life I do feel there are only two beings that have the true grasp on love unconditional, our beloved dogs and God and his son Jesus. We just have to hold onto that thought and have faith in it when we need it most, easier said than done specially for me! Great write.
