Step by step
Going further, getting deeper
Temperature rising, temptations growing
And I burn
Feeling as though
I’m going to break down
I’m going to be ripped apart
Unable to face the demon within me
But my heart beats
Sending thoughts of you
Extinguishing the flames
And putting me back together
Giving me the strength
To stand against my demon
And fight it back
So I can continue on
Step by step
For I walk through hell for you
Doing my best
And if I had to
I would walk through again

A very good write, your dedication to your loved one is great, and you express it very well in this poem. You must be a great person to call a friend, for not many would walk through hell for loved ones.
