Grief
|
I choke on the shadows of my own mistakes.
Waking on a bad morning is all it takes.
But I don’t care
I don’t care
I don’t care anymore. . .
Stuck in a hole grown large
by nonsense that took charge.
Easily, I fall to infamy
They listen to my cries in symphony
Care is lost to those whom were close
Falling thru lose hands, I become a ghost.
But I don’t care
I don’t care
I don’t care anymore. . .
I am watched by ennui eyes with malice
It turns my compassion to deep callous
Idiocy is caught in my ears
Bitterness is caught with my tears
But they don’t care
They don’t care
They don’t care anymore. . .
