Paradise

Contributed by DrowningHeart on Sunday, 31st December 2006 @ 11:52:45 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

There is a place that lovers seek
a so called paradise
With coconut filled palm trees,
white sands and a deep blue sea.

Would we lay on the sand,
with a cocktail on hand?

Would you look in my eyes
and believe in this paradise?

The island birds will sing a song of love
and will stand face to face
on that so called paradise
An island, our secret place.

I like this and imagine it was first written in steam on a shared mirror between moments...

Good Job

Peace

I dig it. It kinda felt like a feeling i get sometimes where I am completely over stimulated in all the right ways and life just couldn't get better. A good thought to have in the back of one's mind every now and then.

I like it, but I think it may have been a bit overdone, worked over. But that's just me, you know your ben better than anyone else. I like the last stanza best, a good ending.
Take care,
David
